Meta designed the glasses to disable recording if you simply cover the LED with tape or a sticker. Our mod works differently. We sever the LED circuit internally, so the firmware reads the LED as "functioning" even though no light is produced. The glasses never detect a blocked LED because it isn't blocked. It's disconnected.
